NDSS Engagement & Relationships Officer
Shefali is the NDSS Engagement and Relationships Coordinator at Diabetes SA. In her current role, Shefali engages with pharmacies and health professionals across South Australia, fostering connections to enhance NDSS accessibility and support.
Shefali holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Mumbai. Her background in social impact consulting and work with philanthropic organisations motivated her to pursue a Master’s degree in Social Work and the University of South Australia.
Passionate about equality, Shefali tries to make sure that her work is guided by a gender lens in both professional and personal life. Beyond work, she finds joy in travelling to new places, experiencing diverse cuisines, and exploring different cultures. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, her dog Simba, and her cat Steve.
